I spent an entire weekend logging in.  and out.  and then back in again.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of work that goes behind what we take for granted every day when we utilize the simple buttons and other utilities required to interact online.

It is the iceberg effect.  you only see 10% of the whole picture, and what’s happening below the surface has a lot more substance than you know.

As of this writing the playground now has magic login and the ability to register and log in with Facebook, google, WordPress, x, Microsoft, and discord.

Each platform requires it’s own developer app, said app must have specific permissions set, and a series of private and public keys that must be implemented to facilitate secure communication between this site and their platforms.

All things internet development require exactness for a desired look, feel, functionality, and security.  the implementation of social logins takes that exactness to a whole new level.

Blessedly it’s done.  and I can move on to learning something new.
